Kitchen by Mike is on the hunt for a new RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR to join our team. Kitchen by Mike is located in the heart of the CBD & open for lunches Monday – Friday offering a casual canteen style lunch & open for dinners Wednesday, Thursday & Friday where we flip the room & offer an entirely different service style with an ever-changing A la Carte menu with a more intimate & fine dining feel to the room. (Yes, you heard correctly – weekends off!)
We are looking for a warm & charismatic individual to join our team Monday – Friday (approx.. 38h). The successful candidate will have strong people skills & a high level of food & wine knowledge whilst aligning with our values of putting people first & delivering an excellent guest experience.
Tasks will include overseeing the set-up & close of the restaurant & assisting with daily operations, actively bringing good energy to the floor & looking after guests, cashing up at the end of the shift & locking up the venue (a full task list shall be discussed at interviews).
Kitchen by Mike has a small front of house team that works closely with the director & chefs in planning in house events, menu changes & attending weekly meetings to discuss how we can continue to drive the business.
We are looking for somebody that has had at least 5 years’ experience within the hospitality field & you must be passionate about food & wine and work well in a small team & be able to support the restaurant manager. Skills in administration & marketing are desirable although not essential.
