Restaurant Waiter

Job Description

As a Restaurant Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service from the moment they step through the door until they leave satisfied. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables.
2. Presenting menus and offering recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
3. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system promptly.
4. Delivering orders to the kitchen and bar efficiently and ensuring timely service.
5. Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
6. Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
7. Handling payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
8. Collaborating with other team members to maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
9. Upholding food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
10. Providing assistance to colleagues and managers as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to make recommendations.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
