Aware is seeking a part-time Albury Upcycle and Recycle Shop Administration Assistant to be responsible for all sales activities and sales associated jobs at the Albury Upcycle and Recycle Shop located next to the Albury Waste Management Centre.
This position is Monday - Thursday 7.54am - 4.00pm.
Operated by Aware Programs the Albury Upcycle shop gives new life to old household goods and provides valuable employment and training to the supported workforce sector. The Aware team includes local people with disabilities, long-term job seekers and people who are retraining for new careers.
The Aware Re-Use Shop Administration Assistant is responsible for all sales activities and sales associated jobs including, greeting customers, answering questions, processing payments, and maintaining a professional attitude reflecting Aware’s commitment to customers.
Workplace Tasking & Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the shop ensuring the shelves are clean and tidy.
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Ensure KPI’s for the council are met.
- Work closely with City councils to ensure that the shop is run within tender guidelines.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company safety standards and procedures.
For this position with our company, applicants must:
- Demonstrated experience in the customer service
- Ability to work as part of a strong team
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate experience of the Microsoft suite and database knowledge
For this position with our company, applicants must be willing and able to provide:
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Certificate IV in Disability or relevant Vocational Qualifications (Cert IV or higher)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
- National Police Check - at own cost (issues during the 2 weeks prior to starting)
- NSW Working With Children Check (employee)
- VIC Working With Children Check (employee)
- NDIS Worker Check

Remuneration:
- $50,015 per annum plus superannuation ($31.53 per hour)
