The Opportunity

In this unique position you provide expertise in leadership, training, Learning and development across the Retail network as well as working proactively to address capability gaps and requirements.

A day in this position could see you...

• Scope, design, develop, facilitate and implement varied learning programs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the Retail and Wagering Division to develop relevant training content.
• Use instructional design methodologies to create learning programs that support adult learning principles (utilising eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions where appropriate).
• Provide learning advice and solutions across varied stakeholder groups.
• Use internal learning management systems (LMS) and human resource information systems (HRIS) to support the reporting and analysis of Learning and Capability activities.
• Operate as a project lead for Learning and Capability initiatives and programs including stakeholder engagement, training design and development.
• Operate as a project lead and support for the ongoing implementation and evaluation of learning programs or activities including compliance training and learning manuals.

About You

• Extensive experience in the facilitation of training and Learning and development initiatives via face-to-face and online delivery methods.
• Demonstrated experience in eLearning design, development and LMS administration.
• Experience in training and instructional design in an adult learning environment for diverse learner groups.
• Ability to provide training, Learning and development guidance and advice.
• Experience project managing learning initiatives through to delivery.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to engage and influence outcomes with a broad range of stakeholders at different operating levels.
• Demonstrated pragmatic problem-solving skills in a team environment.
• Organisational skills to manage and lead varied consecutive Learning and development projects.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
• Role model the organisational values.
• Effectively communicate organisational messages.
• Develop and manage budgets.
