Qualifications & experience
- A service professional with a passion for food
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Catering booking systems (Foodstorm/Peercore)
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in cooking techniques
- Experience in leading & developing a team
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to create a motivating environment
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- High standard of food preparation and productivity
- Ability to work under pressure & plan ahead
Tasks & responsibilities
- Leading the food preparation process, using a conveyer belt and cutting, packing and labelling a range of sandwiches, wraps and rolls
- Updating menus with support of Manager ensuring the variety and quality of the offerings
- Strong Knowledge of food production and HACCP compliance
- Support Manager for hiring, leading and training of team
- Oversee the work of your team ensuring all standards are met
- Estimate staff’s workload and rostering meeting labour budget
- Report and coordinate with Manager with any issues arising
