About the role:

The Retail Trainer is responsible for coaching and developing the retail teams in product, service and standards excellence. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Retail Trainer will spend time in stores with the team developing their skills and in the office working on your training plans and modules, Mystery Shopper reports and individual & store focuses. Please note this is a 12 month contract role. Opportunities to grow and move into other brands within the company are endless and this is a great role to start or extend your career in luxury!

Responsibilities:

• Roll out and deliver training to all team members across Australia
• Tailor training to local markets whilst following Brand Guidelines
• Ensure new team members are on boarded through a range of classroom and on the sales floor training
• Ensure all training is in line with agreed training budgets and expenses
• Travel to each location across Australia to identify training needs in each store
• Collaborate with Store Managers to identify key talent to support training needs
• Manage the Mystery Shop program and use insights to make business decisions

Skills & Experience:

• Understanding of LMS and computer programs is key to the success of this role
• Knowledge of competitors
• Understanding and experience in coaching and developing team members at all levels
• Knowledge of how stores operate and if you've worked in one, even better!
• Ability to work in a team, staying positive and providing direction and advice
• Flexible, agile and willing to roll up your sleeves
• Strong organisation and time management skills and detail oriented
• Ability to perform to a variety of audiences within the business
