About the role
Fixed Term until 28 February 2025
As FRV's Return to Work Coordinator your primary purpose will be to assist employees who have sustained an injury to access and receive the support required to recover and Return to Work in a safe and sustainable manner. You will be a key contact for injured employees and will liaise with employees, line leaders, and other stakeholders to proactively coordinate rehabilitation and recovery at work.
This role will be based at our Spring Street Office with travel required within the designated portfolio.
Functional Accountabilities include:
- Coordinating a safe, early and sustainable recovery from injury;
- Developing recovery plans and Return to Work arrangements;
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including treating health practitioners;
- Regular visits to fire stations and other locations across the state of Victoria;
- Proactively provide advice, education and training to employees in the areas of rehabilitation, Return to Work and the compensation system, and provide ongoing support to the organisation;
- Records management and adherence to governance standards;
- Case reviews to develop strategic plans to support recovery and Return to Work.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in allied health;
- Significant relevant workplace rehabilitation experience;
- Extensive understanding of workers compensation claims management and the relevant legislation;
- Must meet Victorian WorkSafe requirements;
- Current valid driver's license

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
