We are looking for an experienced Return to Work Coordinator or WHS Coordinator with RTW experience, to join our dynamic Work Health and Safety Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview
The Recovery & Return to Work Coordinator oversees early intervention, recovery, and Return to Work programs for workplace injuries at FPH. Their role is to optimise recovery and Return to Work outcomes for injured workers, mitigate operational disruptions and insurance costs, and promote a positive safety culture. They use specialised knowledge to identify trends, implement early intervention initiatives, and enhance employee health, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized advice, training, and support for early intervention and injury prevention, work-related injury response and recovery and worker's compensation claims, including hearing loss claims;
Consult with injured workers, supervisors, allied health providers, and insurers regarding return-to-work responsibilities and progress;
Conduct site visits and workplace assessments to identify early intervention and return-to-work opportunities;
Support operational implementation of One FPH and Recovery & Return to Work SA's program;
Ensure timely lodging, reporting, and follow-up of all claims;
Implement early intervention strategies for injured workers to facilitate their Return to Work; and
Offer assistance and advice to leaders, workers, and treating medical practitioners for achieving positive Return to Work outcomes.
About you
Your skills and experience will include;
Return to Work SA Coordinator Training;
Thorough understanding of the Return to Work Act (SA) and demonstrated experience of working with an insurer to manage complex claims and reduce premium costs;
Understanding of injury management and incapacity protocols;
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal skills & maintains strict confidentiality at all times;
Plan and facilitate information/coaching and toolbox sessions to engage and support leaders understanding on RTW and incapacity requirements; and
Ability to provide and analyse data sets and provide insights to management to enable reviews of health, safety and wellbeing performance indicators.
