Kiama Council is committed to putting the right people in the right roles to transform its business. We currently have an opportunity for a Revenue Coordinator to join the in our Finance department. As a Revenue Coordinator you will get to manage the Revenue team including the operational accountabilities of levying, collection and accounting of all rates and charges levied by Council, debt recovery, daily banking and the completion and submission of all statutory returns and/or reports relevant to the rating function. What we offer... Permanent full time, 35 hours per week (A job share arrangement will be considered for this role) A part time position may be considered at a minimum 3 days per week (21hours per week), this salary will be prorated based on contracted hours. Annual salary from $88,433.28 to $104,601.64 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) Plus 11% superannuation What you'll need to be successful in the role... Relevant Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a supervisory role Experience in processing and reconciling supplementary levies and Land Valuations with Valuer Generals Land Values. Capacity to effectively manage the diverse operations of a work group to ensure the provision of timely and quality outputs for customers and the community. Experience with supervising team activities and monitoring the use of resources to deliver planned results for customers and the community. What you'll love about working for Kiama Council...
