About this new Opportunity
Our Australian Unity Accounts Receivable & Revenue team are growing and we are now recruiting for a new 12-month fixed term contract opportunity within our team. This role has been created due to organic growth of the business.
This will be a critical role to the team as the Revenue Officer provides key Revenue expertise to our Retirement Village and Aged Care Teams through revenue billings, assistance with government funding, claims and reconciliation.
The role will be a 12-month fixed-term contract initially however there are good prospects for future growth both within the role and the team as well as within the broader Finance & Strategy community in Australian Unity. The role will be based at our Mulgrave site.
What you will do
- Play a critical role in the end-to-end billing within our Retirement Communities and Aged Care. This includes everything from admission to discharge, fee and subsidy updates, billing, debt collection and account reconciliation & administration
- Manage government subsidies for residential Aged Care, including government funding, and reconciliation of funding and end of month reporting.
- Establish sustainable and scalable billings processes as they relate to customer service.
- Resolve resident and their authorized representatives' queries in relation to village billings with empathy and in a timely manner.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience working in a Revenue officer / Accounts Receivable role
- Demonstrated knowledge of Retirement Villages and Residential Aged Care legislation would be highly regarded
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Ability to identify, analyse and make incremental improvements to processes and drive efficiency and quality
