Our client is a large, very well-regarded organisation, who offer a range of critical community support services, and work hard to make a difference in times of need. They require a dynamic and skilled Revenue Officer to join their team for a permanent opportunity.
As part of a team of 12, the Revenue Officer will be responsible for overseeing the patient billing and funding/revenue recognition.
About the Role:
- Ensuring an accurate and timely processing all resident fees and charges
- Ensure the delivery of billing services is inline with agreed processes
- Management of payments and receipts
- Reconciliation of Medicare government funding statements
- Process direct debits
- Generate monthly statement for all residents
- Respond to all billing queries from internal and external customers
- Debt collection and exceptional customer services to internal and external customers
- Supporting the Team Leader in ad hoc projects and tasks as required

- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Great attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
