Our client is a blue-chip professional services provider looking for an experienced and hands-on Risk and Compliance professional to join their growing team.
This is a newly created role and will be responsible for developing and implementing the Risk and Compliance framework, policies, and procedures as well as leading risk related projects. You will also be managing a small team.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks
- Developing and implementing business continuity plans and conflict management processes
- Conducting compliance and AML reviews
- Investigating and reporting compliance breaches
- Preparing and presenting Risk and Compliance reports to senior management and board
- Providing risk advisory and training across the business
- Participating in ad hoc projects
- 5-6+ years risk management experience
- Prior experience building and/or implementing risk management strategies
- Background within professional services industry ideal
- Prior experience leading projects or teams would be ideal
- Driven, smart, curious and willingness to be hands-on
- Strong communication and influencing skills
