Excellent opportunity for an experienced Risk Specialised to join a leading Australian regulator working in their Superannuation division
Provide specialized guidance and risk analysis for regulated entities, industries, and financial systems, emphasizing valuation and governance of unlisted assets.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the investment strategies and procedures of regulated entities, primarily focusing on superannuation funds.
Identify and evaluate investment and liquidity risks.
Provide support and guidance to supervision teams and colleagues in Investment Risk.
Recognise both existing and emerging risks within the industry, contributing to comprehensive reviews of these risks.
Offer on-demand advice regarding investment and liquidity matters to various stakeholders
Key requirements:
Expertise in conducting research on unlisted assets, including selection, valuation, audit, and implementation.
Background in investment risk, preferably in areas such as investment management or asset consulting, along with tertiary-level qualifications.
Proficient collaboration with stakeholders across various levels.
Possession of robust analytic capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to influence and engage others.
Outstanding organisational skills, self-discipline, and adeptness in managing priorities
