SalaryMars Recruitment are working with a leading industrial resources business. in search of a Risk Specialist to join the team on a part-time, temporary basis. This is a key role in supporting our company's Enterprise Risk Management activities and the day-to-day operation of the insurance function and Simplified Chinese translation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the company's enterprise risk and opportunity management methodology.
- Assist in both scheduled and ad-hoc risk assessment activities across the business.
- Support the management, implementation, improvement, and testing of the enterprise risk management software.
- Prepare and update a risk management guide and roll out training for risk owners across the company when required.
- Support the analysis of risks and opportunities for various projects responsible by the function.
- Help prepare timely, succinct, and accurate risk management reports for business units, the Board, and different committees.
- Support the renewal of the company's insurance program and collaborate with commercial managers to establish insurance needs and values.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive General Manager.
- Other tasks assigned by the Manager, Risk and Insurance.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
- At least 1 - 4 years in a similar role, including risk management and risk analysis.
- Familiarity with risk management standards (ISO31000) and methodology.
- Strong Power BI and advanced SQL skills required.
- Sound verbal and written communication in Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
- Adept in learning new corporate software (e.g., risk management tool).
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience working in SAP is a plus.
- Ability/experience of working on data analytics (Alteryx) and dashboarding tools.
