We are a General Practice medical centre catering to all age groups with a special focus upon children and families. Our federation heritage building has been renovated into a state of the art, natural light filled private billing GP practice, with amazing design features and an outdoor play area for children.
We are looking for a qualified Practice Nurse to join our team during business hours (no after hours).
We have a focus upon family medicine, and have created a fun environment for both staff and patients. Our staff are a warm and welcoming team who are committed to high quality medicine and customer service. Expect to find a relaxed, friendly and upbeat workplace with plenty of laughter in the staff room.
We are AGPAL accredited and have onsite pathology plus both a dedicated treatment and nurse's room.
The successful applicant will have Division 1 qualifications and previous general practice experience including in patient triage, covid vaccinations, children's vaccinations, infection control, cold chain management, wound management, care plans and the communication of test results.
The Requirements
To be successful for this position, you will:
- have a warm, welcoming and friendly nature
- hold current AHPRA Division 1 Nurse Registration
- have previous experience working in General Practice
- possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
