Total Roofing and Cladding are specialists in metal roofing and architectural cladding. We work across high end residential and multi-unit developments, and we’re on the hunt for an experienced and dedicated Leading Handr to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will bring years of Leading hand experience to the table and will impress our company directors with their autonomy, decision making ability, and proven performance history on and off site.

Key responsibilities
- Organise and prioritise job sites (sometimes working across multiple sites at the same time)
- Understand resources (people, products, and equipment) needed for each job and make site specific arrangements
- Manage onsite teams and productivity
- Work on small and large projects
- Oversee projects to ensure everything is done to spec and to relevant Australian Building Codes
- Ensure OH&S standards are maintained across the business and on each site
- Resolve on site issues with efficient and effective thinking/solutions
- Understand the time sensitive nature of projects and show leadership to respond to unforeseen site issues
- Ensure on site conduct reflects the Total Roofing and Cladding brand and business values
Experience and attributes
- Experience in the roofing industry
- Experience in Leading Hand Role would help
- Superior time management and communication skills
- Able to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings
- A proven ability to multitask and prioritise
- A natural leader who can manage situations, clients, suppliers, and their own team
- An understanding of the BCA and relevant building codes
- A genuine interest in the ongoing success and growth of Total Roofing and Cladding
- Attention to detail
