The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator wanting to take the next step in their career.
Duties include:
- Work in partnership with the Education Leader to deliver a high-quality educational program based on the Buttercups Pedagogy Standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance and inspiration to educators in your team.
- Promote children’s well-being and provide a safe and secure environment.
- Create positive and respectful relationships with the children, families and the wider community.
- Work with the Centre Manager and Education leader to create an environment that is fun, welcoming, and safe for our children and families.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant Qualifications as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework Version 2 and National Quality Standards
- Experience in leading and mentoring others
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with staff, children and families.
- Current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check, up to date immunisation and Police Clearance.
- Prior experience as a Room Leader or in the position of Responsible Person highly desirable
