Clayton Church Homes is a leading provider of residential care, retirement living accommodation and home care services across metropolitan Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
We have an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Rostering Officer. This position can be offered on a part time role, (over five days) or a full time position, based at our Head Office in Prospect.
If you have demonstrated experience in a rostering position, outstanding customer service skills and a high level of administrative experience, this role is for you.
In this role you will
- Manage the rostering function for one of our CCH Residential Aged Care Facilities from Prospect (Head office)
- Responding to rostering enquiries from staff and management
- Coordinate and schedule daily staffing allocations to ensure all shifts are filled
- Oversee the master roster and process shift variations, permanent shift changes and generate/publish new rosters fortnightly
- Assist with the scheduling, coordination, and rostering of mandatory staff training
- Maintain and update the casual employee roster
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of rostering procedures
- Present regular reports on agency staff usage, overtime, double shifts and shift variations
- Maintain positive relationships with CCH staff and Agency staff
- Provide high level administrative support on a variety of other staffing and rostering related tasks as required
What do you need to apply?
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Administration (Desirable)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, experience in rostering for Aged Care, Home Care or NDIS is an advantage.
- Experience using administrative office systems, procedures and equipment
- Experience using CIM and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience rostering staff in a medium to large organisation and across multiple sites
