Always Care Services is currently seeking a talented Rostering Officer to join our family orientated team in a community support environment.
We are seeking someone who is detail orientated, can work autonomously, under pressure, and has the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
The Rostering Officer is responsible for rostering staff to meet our client needs ensuring with provide their on-going support services. The Rostering Officer enures that our rosters are filled both long term and short term and any vacant shifts are assigned in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the main point of contact for staff rostering allocation and enquiries
- Update and maintain roster changes within the MYP software system
- Maintain and adjust roster templates to meet changes in client needs.
- Manage and prioritise workload to meet business needs
- Apply a high degree of attention to detail.
- Monitor hours worked by support workers to ensure they are working within the scope of industrial and visa obligations a knowledge of the SCHADS Award and advantage.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- PreviousRostering Experience (essential)
- Current National Police Clearance or NDIS Clearance (essential)
- Understanding of 24/7 service organisations
- Be able to effectively manage competing priorities to deliver required outcomes.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in using rostering software MYP or Deputy an advantage.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook),
- Ability to work over a 7 day roster.
