An immediate start is available. The role has some flexibility and may be able to accommodate staff looking for a part-time or full-time role, with increased volume of direct support work if worked full-time. It is expected that 5 days a week will be required as rostering duties are needed each day.
The Role
We are looking for a Rostering Officer to join our team and provide essential support to our everyday operations. You will work across our Yandina, Nambour and Maroochydore locations. Experience in the rostering application, Easy Employer would be highly desirable.
You will be required to be actively on shift from time to time (continuity of support is a priority of us), experience supporting people with disability is essential. You will need to be suited to a physically active support role, including provision of personal care, assist mobility, general household tasks.
Hours will typically be within usual office hours, however, all frontline office based teams are expected to be able to assist to fill outside of hours shifts on occasions where we are unexpectedly short staffed.
The role will require you to have capability to manage the effective and efficient deployment of staff to meet client service delivery requirements.
The Rostering Officer supports the Leadership Teams across multiple service delivery programs. The role is essential to the planning and implementation of rosters designed to achieve quality outcomes and responds to ad hoc changes in a manner that ensures continuity of supports.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent administrative and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for producing work to a high standard. You will be experienced in rostering roles, possess a high level of integrity, be accountable, as well as having the ability to time manage and prioritise effectively. You will be supported in your role by an experienced management team and will have clear scope for your role.
Essential Characteristics
You will be required to undertake Criminal History Screening. Possession of NDIS Worker Screening (combined with Blue Card) is an advantage for an immediate start.
Experience and demonstrated competence in a range of office technology software and hardware. You will be working with a range of Microsoft Office programs as well as any role specific software platforms.
Remuneration
This position is targeted at the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, Level 2. Salary packaging is available.
