This role sits under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Pharmacy and is rotational between clinical and operational service areas of the department.Royal Prince Alfred Hospital provides a comprehensive range of clinical services to residents of the Sydney Local Health District and has specialised areas of practice in liver, renal and bone marrow transplant, Melanoma therapy, haematology, cardiology, advanced surgical procedures and mental health. The pharmacy department provides clinical trials, outpatients and production unit services and is a leader in the deployment of novel and innovative models of clinical care. • Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligible for immediate registration, and able to practice independently. Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Award and are expected to be able to demonstrate continual ability to meet three of the five competencies within the Award.
• Demonstrated ongoing commitment to the professional development relevant to areas of practice.
• Demonstrated understanding of the priorities and requirements of hospital pharmacy.
