This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.
The Rotational Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services to optimise sade and appropriate medication usage for patients and staff. Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) has a vacancy for multiple Pharmacists to come join our team!
Working in the Pharmacy Department at CCLHD you will be part of forward-facing team dedicated to providing excellent patient centred care in tandem with continued support for growth and development.
The successful candidates will be required to rotate between Gosford and Wyong Hospitals to work within many clinical specialties including but not limited to Cardiology, Neurology & Surgical.
Community Pharmacists are encouraged to apply for this position and will be offered extensive support and training for their transition into the Hospital Pharmacy setting.
About You

  • You will hold registration as a practicing pharmacist with AHPRA (or will be eligible for registration within 3 months of commencement)
  • You will be able to rotate across CCLHD cites, participate in on call, afterhours, weekend and public holiday work as required.
  • Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award and are expected to continually demonstrate achievement of at least three of the five listed competencies within the Award.
  • You must demonstrate effective clinical drug knowledge and competence in its application to achieve safe and efficient quality of care.
  • You have well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, the capacity to manage a complex workload and have a proven commitment to professional development
