SalaryThe Ruby Developer will work with the team to extend an existing Rails application to support entry and updating of additional data types.
We are looking for an experienced Rails/Ruby developer with excellent team work skills, to work full/part (0.6 FTE minimum), onsite at (Canberra), online/remote, or hybrid.
Experience
Suitable candidates will have demonstrated experience with one or more similar projects. Responses must provide a summary of at least one previous project describing the project objective, developer's role, and the quality of the result, and provide links to the project results (i.e. website) and, if possible, to a code repository with examples
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated prior experience developing high quality online interfaces for data entry and update using the Rails framework.
- Excellent technical skills including some or all of: Rails, Ruby, Postgresql, JQuery, Bootstrap, Minitest, Git, AWS hosting, Jenkins.
- Ability to work productively in a small team environment. Willing to explain, listen and discuss code and tasks. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
