We are a small CBD cafe restaurant, that is rapidly growing and is looking to grow our team to keep up.
We are on the hunt for experienced and qualified Chefs with at least two years behind them, you must know your way around a kitchen and be able to hold down a busy shift solo.
In exchange we offer award rates, including penalties - meaning you get paid for every hour your at work! Set Roster, no split shifts, no late nights and the opportunity to be part of an amazing growing and fun team.
Our Chefs
Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you'll strive to:
- Maintain consistently high quality of food products produced
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of recipes for all menu items.
- Prepare and garnish pantry items, including salads, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty dishes, following established guidelines.
- Adhere to standard recipes across all outlets.
- Comply with operational policies and procedures.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Head Chef.

About You
We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.
The successful person must have:
- Experience in a busy cafe or restaurant including operating solo during quieter periods
- Chefs should have at least 18 months experience after completing their apprenticeships
- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- Flexibility to work at variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays on rotation with other team members (although no overnight shifts required)
- Ability to work as a team & also independently
