About the Role
An opportunity exists for a motivated Group Support Officer to join our Vegetation Team to provide administrative support to the maintenance teams by effectively managing the purchasing of goods needed to complete allocated works, raise orders, requisitions and process receivables for the acquisition and payment of goods and services.
What you will be doing:
• Office administration and support functions for the Management team
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Accurate preparation of correspondence, agendas and minutes
• Organise meetings
• Generate and evaluate inventory reports necessary for liaison with purchasing staff
• Undertake regular stocktakes of the Council’s resource rooms
• Obtain quotes for minor Council purchases
• Coordinate and oversee the loading and unloading of goods and the control of goods movements for various Council teams
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or experience in a similar role
2. First Aid & CPR (Desirable)
3. NSW Drivers Licence (C Class) (Desirable)
Position details:
Permanent full-time role, S1003 Salary: Up to $76K per annum + Superannuation
