What's the job?
- Working with ASX 100 listed companies across banking, retail, government, and petroleum.
- Your day will be scheduled by trade service professionals
- You will utilize state-of-the-art software and have the support of your own coordinator
- Trade managers, leading hands, and safety managers all add to the support of your position
- Full training and orientation for all our recruits, monthly toolbox talks, and safety presentations
- Install and Maintain Fire Extinguishers and Blankets
- Inspect and Test Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels
- Inspect and Test Fire Doors
- Inspect and Test Emergency Lighting
- Test and tag duties for electrical cabling and equipment
- Wiring/connection of smoke detectors and warning speakers
- Previous knowledge and experience in fire industry, the ability to work unsupervised and “out in the field”.
- Some basic electrical work may also be require
- A licence for Fire Detection and Emergency Exit Lighting as a minimum
- Either have a Certificate III in Fire Protection Control UEE31020 or a Current Electrical Licence
- Open cabling license
- Good knowledge of all applicable Australian Standards Willing to travel being a small team in South Australia.
- On Call, Overtime / After hours available
