We are seeking a highly passionate individual who enjoys working in a diverse campus community and being part of a team who are trained to manage general safety and security issues, in addition to supporting the wellbeing and welfare of the campus community.
Fantastic opportunity for a Safer Community Officer to join Curtin University on a casual basis with possibilities of full-time employment in the future.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Completion of a Certificate level II in security operations by a recognised security training company or for this to be in progress.
- Strong communication skills
- A current WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- A passion for working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and a strong sense of community
- A valid Senior First Aid Certificate
- A level of fitness commensurate with the position which involves patrols on foot or bicycle.
