What’s on offer?
Fulton Hogan is looking for aSafety Advisorto join its team for road upgrade projects being delivered for Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), upgrading intersections, adding extra lanes, enhancing walking and cycling facilities, and providing better connections for the community.
As a Safety Advisor, you will:
- Develop and implement Healthy & Safety related sub-plans and procedures i.e. SWMS etc.
- Drive and champion a safety culture with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct safety assessments and internal audits
- Plan, coordinate and manage safety aspects in relation to the implementation of works related to the project
- Collaborate with Supervisors, Engineers and external stakeholder to identify and manage risk; including critical risk management
- Report incidents, non-conformances and near misses and coordinate/participate in investigations as required
- Use safety systems to meet reporting requirements (monthly reports, objectives & targets)
How you will connect to the role:
- Safety professional with sound industry experience
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 4801
- Sound systems development, implementation and management experience
- A strong commitment to our Living Safely 2.0 culture
- Proactive self-starter with exceptional communication skills
- Diploma in OHS (preferred requirement)
