We are actively searching for a committed HSE Coordinator to join our client's team for project management. Candidates with experience in Retail, Health, Corrections, or Data Centre sectors are highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor company health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to manage potential safety hazards effectively.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and initiatives.
- Coordinate with project managers and other construction staff to promote and integrate safety measures.
- Organize and lead safety training sessions for site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain reports on accidents and violations and determine their causes; recommend preventive measures.
- Stay updated with all applicable HSE regulations and ensure all aspects of site operations adhere to legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) coordination, preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in Retail, Health, Corrections, or Data Centre sectors is highly advantageous.
- Strong passion for construction safety with a proactive approach to promoting health and environmental awareness.
- Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, with a commitment to ensuring compliance.
- Ability to implement and monitor company HSE policies effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
