We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Partner tojoin our Safety & Wellbeing team. With a strongfocus on stakeholder management, the Safety Partner’s focus will be on integratingand improving work health and wellbeing into good job design and work healthand safety systems. They will improve the way we work, the work environment andour workplace culture by providing specialist WHS advice to our people leadersand employees in designated business units.
- To be successful you will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Work Health and Safety and will have demonstrated experience influencing and negotiating at all levels of an organisation.
- You will have a proven record in achieving improved safety awareness and a demonstrated ability to generate user-friendly reports and strategic analysis.
- You will also have experience with safety platforms and electronic systems for managing WHS Compliance.
- You will also be well versed in the WHS Acts Regulations and Codes of Practice as well as aiding with the continual review of the Work Health and safety system of Waverley Council.
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work practices and a background in managing and dealing with Workers’ compensation claims and return to work.
