This is a parental leave, 12-month contract, to start this July, with a hybrid working from home on offer.
This role will report to the CEO and be responsible for the overall People, Culture & Safety Strategy, leading a team of P&C specialists including Safety. You will work collaboratively with C-Suite and the Board, on the design and execution of the People, Culture & Safety strategic plan, which will involve driving organisational workplace culture initiatives that align with business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Executive HR Leadership experience, reporting to C-Suite from complex commercial, qualified workplace environments, ideally within businesses that operate and manage large-scale investments.
- Exposure to both businesses that are large-sized and also smaller-sized workforces across your career.
- Demonstrated project management and execution of culture and organisational change, as a trusted member of the executive leadership team.
- Led PC&S teams with strong senior business partnering experience, able to be a credible advisor on all HR and talent management strategy, and people matters.
- Good understanding and exposure to risk & governance, Australian industrial relations, and reward, along with exposure to the oversight of Health, Safety, and Well-being.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of all aspects of Organisational Development including strategic and operational planning and implementation.
- Confidence and credibility in consulting with executives and senior leaders, raising capability and leadership within a high-performing business.
- Experience aligning organisational culture, performance, and engagement to align with organisational strategy at an executive level.
- Intrinsic self-motivated drive, and be a good senior mentor.
- Ability to influence the status quo through executive coaching, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
- Highly collaborative and engaging communication style with credibility and executive presence.
- Enjoyment for being hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-focused.
- Tertiary qualifications are essential.
