Workplace Trainer and Assessor
Australian Safety & Training Alliance (RTO-31472) is one of Queensland's leading integrated safety consulting and training organisations. We operate across the majority of South East Queensland with offices in Gympie and Bundaberg.
As a registered training organisation (RTO), Australian Safety & Training Alliance is currently seeking a Full Time Trainer/Assessor to meet our increasing client needs.
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of training and assessment activities relating to our current scope. Areas include;
- Confined Space and Work at heights
- First Aid/CPR
- Electrical Test and Tag
- Standard 11 Mine Induction
- Dogging (DG)
- EWP, Forklift
- Operating load shifting equipment including roller, loader, excavator, skid steer, back hoe, grader etc
- Safety Representatives
Additionally, experience with the following areas would be highly regarded however are not compulsory;
- Registered Assessor with WHSQ for High Risk Licences
- Safety Advisor
Responsibilities of the position would include but not be limited to the following:
- Provide training & assessment, review assessment instruments
- Managing the physical resources required for the delivery of the programs
- Completing documentation to support delivery and assessment practices such as the development of session plans, resources and assessment documents prior to and at the completion of training.
- Travel to various locations
- Completing professional development activities in accordance with development plans and organisational requirements
- Participate in Moderation and Validation activities as required.
The following required experience / qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Recent and relevant experience related to competency-based education & training and National Training Packages
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering training programs and courses
- Well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of AQF standards, legislation, and policies specific to RTO operations
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
