Are you looking to grow your career and don't mind traveling for work? Our client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to grow the business in the NT and Top part of WA. An Australian business that sells plumbing supplies and they are expanding to Darwin.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts, building lasting relationships, and uncovering new opportunities across the Northern Territory and Far Northern WA.
- Travel to Alice Springs, Broom, Katherine and more (up to 2 weeks a month)
- Manage key accounts and engage stakeholders
- Provide top-tier service to assigned key customers
- Address customer needs promptly and efficiently
- Proactively seek new business and sales opportunities
What you will need:
In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience
- Proven account management experience
- Previous plumbing / trades industry experience (advantageous)
- Strong presentation skills with a customer-centric focus
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
- Current open driver's license; willingness to travel
- Financial analysis proficiency
- Initiative, business awareness, and strategic thinking
