About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities in Melbourne and managing an existing customer base. This is a highly autonomous role will report to the National Sales Manager, your time will be spent on the road and in our Dandenong South head office, flexible working arrangements are available.
The successful candidate will:
- Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue by targeting competitor waste services.
- Network across various sectors to foster strong relationships and leverage on these
- Manage existing accounts with quotations, service inquiries, contract renewal processes and accounts receivables.
- Work with leads generators to develop sales growth.
- Meet and exceed set sales targets and KPI's.
- Support management team with tenders and national contract proposals.

Skills and experience
A natural hunter you will possess all the all the necessary characteristics for success in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive sales environment experience will be essential in this role
- Waste industry experience would be advantageous, however the right attitude and desire to be top of your game will make you a strong contender for this opportunity
- Work strongly as part of a team to secure agreements for waste management services
- Able to generate leads and grow a business pipeline, and updating the CRM system
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work across a variety of platforms
