About the business and the role
We are a well-recognised security manpower services provider operating in WA, SA & NT. Given our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team and further accelerate our growth. Your main responsibility is to sell our security manpower services by reaching out to prospective clients. You will have a Business Development responsibility to connect with our core target customers, developing, planning and implementing Sales and marketing strategies to accelerate business growth across the country.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a high-performing Sales and Business Development Manager with solid track record of engaging the market to deliver and exceed sales targets. You are a hunter, hungry for success and love the chase. In your role, you will help us in meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by building new clients relationships and enhancing the existing ones. You will also work with our engaged team across different functions to make our business more competitive and innovative. You will be a sales representative and Business Development Manager, not relying on price to win the deal. You understand that it's all about knowledge, relationships, and creating value for the customer.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Achieving monthly Sales and growth KPIs
- Crafting, planning and implementing Sales and marketing plans and justifying those.
- Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
- Presenting sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identifying new products and markets and being proactive in analysing market shifts while being fully aware of the competition landscape
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have a track record of success over several years' experience in commercial sales of security manpower services and solutions to clients including among other:
- Strong verifiable track record in Sales and Business Development
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- References a must, evidence of being a successful sales person
- The successful applicant must be able to work across Business Development and Sales Representative duties
