Sales Area ManagerAn opening exists for a permanent full time Sales Area Manager – On Road to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.
About your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Area Manager to join our team based in Lidcombe. This role will report to the Head of Commercial and will be responsible for maintaining and developing a strong client base.

What are the role responsibilities?
This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
- To identify, grow and successfully manage new and existing worthy sales opportunities
- Ensure customer spend and contract optimisatio
- Delivering product expansion and helping to drive profitability through sales and customer growth
- Analysing reports to find sales opportunities
Who we are looking for?
This opportunity would suit an experienced Sales Representative. What we need from you is:
Essential:
- Minimum 4 years’ relatable sales experience in the food service industry
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to construct and leverage strong customer relations
- Relevant and current knowledge of the meat industry
- Active listening and negotiation skills with focus on quality and timely decision making and follow up
- Discipline and motivation to work autonomously with support of the wider Sales Team
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with a positive attitude towards our customers
- Unrestricted Driver’s License and a good driving record
Desirable:
- Successful Track record of selling in the meat industry
- Managerial Experience
- Meat product knowledge/expertise
- Presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
