With an extensive fleet of compliant vehicles, we specialise in the business-to-business movement of palletised, packaged, and bulk hazardous materials and dangerous goods freight to any postcode in Australia.
Chemcouriers Epping is well and truly on an exciting path. It is vital that we are planning for the necessary future growth ahead of us and an enormous aspect of this strategy is centred around building and growing our team. As such, we are looking to recruit a Melbourne based Sales Cadet to join the Chemcouriers Epping sales team.
ABOUT THE CADETSHIP
- 12 – 24 months hands on, structured and supported training
- Learning all Transport functions and systems, including operations, administration, customer service and sales
- Exposure to the wider business, including warehousing, international forwarding and local cartage (understanding of the global business – who we are and what we do)
- Attendance at internal and external sales skills training sessions
- Regular debriefs with the Sales Manager
- Participating in joint calls with the sales team
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Great attention to detail
- A team player
- Highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Enjoy and be confident with face-to-face customer interactions
- A willingness to learn is a must, as is excellent personal presentation
- Strong internal drive to succeed showing initiative to develop their knowledge
