ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Cadetship Program offers a fantastic opportunity to become an expert in Wharf Cartage, gain valuable sales skills through on-the-job training, and develop a deeper understanding of the wider supply chain aspects of our business.
About the Cadetship:
- 12–24 months of hands-on, structured, and supported training
- Learning all Wharf functions and systems, including operations, administration, customer service, and sales
- Exposure to the wider business, including warehousing, international forwarding, and transport (understanding of the global business – who we are and what we do)
- Attendance at internal and external sales skills training sessions
- Involvement in new customer onboarding and existing customer KPIs
- Regular debrief with the Sales Manager
The Successful Applicant Must:
- Be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Have great attention to detail
- Be creative and challenge the way we do things
- Enjoy and be confident with face-to-face customer interaction
- Have a willingness to learn and excellent personal presentation
- Show a strong internal drive to succeed and take initiative to develop their knowledge
