The Company
My client are a well-known and extremely established group of companies, with multiple divisions including mining, oil & gas, power, machinery, infrastructure and food. Due to organic business growth, they are looking to add to their warehouse team in Gaythorne QLD to assist the Branch Manager with the day to day running's of the warehouse which has a core focus of products to the mining industry.
The Role
Your role will be to work alongside the Branch Manager and take responsibility for the warehouse when he is attending client meetings.
As the Sales and Warehouse Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:
- First point of contact for walk in customer's
- Pick packing
- FLT work
- Manual handling (up to 20kg)
- Email / Phone queries
- Liaising with suppliers
- Placing orders
- General Admin
- Receiving deliveries
- Ordering supplies
- Preparing quotes and pricing
- Adhering to WH&S
- Stock counts
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.
What you need
To be successful in this role you must have some experience in a similar role.
You must be self sufficient and be able to work autonomously as there will be times when you are working alone.
