About the role
Due to an internal promotion, Kirby HVAC&R are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Engineer to drive new and existing business across the NSW region.
The Sales Engineer is a persuasive and influential specialist on HVAC & R equipment and products. Utilizing exceptional technical knowledge to satisfy the needs of our customers whilst achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability.
Assisting with the initiation and commissioning of projects, the Sales Engineer establishes effective relationships with internal and external customers and has strong follow up.
The Sales Engineer will actively participate in HVAC & R trade events, providing technical insights and expertise to enhance market positioning and sales results.
Working closely with the Sales, Engineering and Marketing teams, the Sales Engineer will conduct market research activities to identify emerging trends, customer needs, potential areas for growth, analysing industry activities and market dynamics to assist in the development of business strategies.
This role will offer plenty of variety for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident Sales Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career.

About you
Ideally you will be a fully qualified refrigeration and/or air-conditioning mechanic by trade (or hold equivalent experience) - ensuring you have the technical expertise to deliver superior service to our valued customers.
Hungry for personal and professional growth, you thrive in a role that offers you ownership over your day, whilst working collaboratively with the greater team.
Sales driven yet customer focused, you will have the ability to travel domestically, along with a current Australian driver's licence.
