Position Overview:
NoviqTech is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the technology sector. As part of a small, yet seasoned team of entrepreneurs, this individual will have an incredible opportunity, to learn from and contribute to business development and sales strategies for global growth.
This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, Australia, with occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Example: Create a quarterly sales strategy that targets new sectors, utilising the marketing and sales outbound infrastructure provided.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and participate in the negotiation of contracts to secure new accounts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and drive growth. Work with the marketing team to create refine targeted campaigns based on client feedback and product development.
- Market Analysis: Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and innovation and differentiation in sales strategy
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Sales Performance: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the technology industry.
- Leadership and Self Starter: Demonstrated experience and initiative in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including the sustainability technology sector. Specific knowledge or experience of of AI and blockchain applications in sustainability and supply chain management would be a plus
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Able to present and develop relationships with C-level executives.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
