THE ROLE
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of client focused problem solvers, driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships with the organisation’s key accounts. Other key responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and partnering with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions to the client base.
Note, only apply for this position if you carry previous experience in the steel or piping, valve and fittings sector, supplying into the energy / resources arena.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will also carry most of the following:
- Proven technical ability in order to provide support to customers regarding technical specifications.
- Strong leadership and management potential, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or SAP software
