Lead, Coach and Achieve
Hanson Australia is looking for a Sales Manager to drive our Western Australian sales team's focus through leadership of our local strategy and optimising the sales process. You will be responsible for coaching and leading the development of the sales team to achieve their goals and achieve or exceed set targets.
The role:
- Assist in the development of the regional sales strategy under the leadership of the Regional Sales Manager
take ownership of the orderbook, pipeline and forecasting - Develop and leverage existing customer relationships as well as achieving new business goals
- Inspire, motivate, coach and develop the individual capabilities of the sales team
- Be accountable and own the leadership of the team by building a high-performance sales culture
About you:
- Well-developed knowledge of the WA construction market (preferred)
- A proven track record of achievement in a sales leadership role with a multi-million dollar sales budget
- You bring high levels of energy and a sense of urgency to get things done
- You have strong people leadership skills and understand how to identify customer, market and industry insights to enable effective team coaching
- You bring a strong understanding of complex selling, sales processes, management cycles and sales methodology
- Most importantly, you understand that as the Sales Manager you are accountable for the team's performance and by making them better at their roles, you will achieve the goals set for you
