Position Overview: As an Automotive Sales Manager you will be a key player in leading and managing our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual with proven sales leadership experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set realistic sales targets and objectives.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of customer-centric sales approaches to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and concerns.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to assess team effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve overall sales performance.

Product and Market Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure in-depth product knowledge and effective communication of value propositions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role. Industry experience preferred but not mandatory as we are recruiting on attitude, capability, systems and processes implementation experience.
  • Tasks include Include pipeline management tracking leads, understanding dashboarding and reporting to the owners of the business. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally an in-depth knowledge of automotive accessories, parts, and fitment services. Although a keen interest in cars or previous work in a related industry we would consider. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
