Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to oversee the sales operations in a small boutique Caravan Dealership. The Sales Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, sales and marketing activities, caravan shows and leadership. This is a very dynamic and hands-on role for a business savvy leader that can take the business to the next level. The position reports to the Dealer Principal and is based in Campbellfield, Melbourne.
Overseeing a small team, you will help to implement and drive key strategies to ensure the success and growth of the business and brand while mentoring, coaching, and inspiring our team.
The key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Sales - Convert inquiries to sales, and sales to repeat business.
- Client Relationship Management –Maintain CRM to develop long-term relationships with our customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Work Coordination – Scheduling resources for shows, handovers, contractors, and to complete work effectively. Reporting and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Stock and Parts Purchasing – Research and purchase the right after-market parts and accessories for our retail store offerings and maintain stock levels.
- Leadership – lead, coach, and mentor the team to ensure individual and team success. Regularly hold meetings to discuss, set and report on targets and outcomes.
You Will Need
Ideally, you will demonstrate a history of success in terms of driving results across various facets of the dealership as well as driving a high-performing culture.
· Proven track record of achieving company targets*
· Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in growing, developing and mentoring Team Members to ensure they achieve targets and objectives
· Ability to plan, implement and report on business performance
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
· Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
· A strong desire to succeed
· Strong business acumen
· A current Victoria drivers licence and clean driving record
- Interstate travel and weekend work as required
- A passion for Caravanning and RVs
- A thorough working knowledge of caravans
