Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identifying new business opportunities and actively following up potential customers
- Attending trade shows and events and representing the business in a professional manner
- Servicing and developing existing customer base
- Align sales with corporate objectives
- Responding to all phone/fax/email sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Preparing sales reports
- Maintaining and expanding customer relationships
- Successfully meeting and exceeding KPI's
- Increase market share
- Proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales activity
- Ensuring customer base are regularly updated with product information and new promotions
- Identify and make recommendations regarding marketing initiatives
- Stay up to date and informed with competitor activity and future works
To be successful in this role, a proven track record in a dedicated Sales role is essential as well as experience in the electrical space. You also need to demonstrate tenacity and the ability to succeed within a competitive industry.
Other attributes to excel in this role include:
- Demonstrated experience (Minimum three years) in a Sales focused role
- Experience in the Electrical Industry highly advantageous
- Strong client liaison and relationship building skills
- Results orientated
- Willingness to travel- fortnightly-monthly
- Ability to multitask and think on your feet
- Positive attitude and the ability to keep cool under pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- IT literate
- Good administration skills
- Excellent team player who is positive, proactive and results driven
