We manufacture our award-winning products in the mid north town of Laura in South Australia with our head office based in Nailsworth. Our staff are proud of the products we make and are passionate about being the best in the business.
The Role
To assist our sales growth, we are looking to appoint an ambitious sales professional keen for success to manage our Independent Grocery Channel. The role will be based at our Nailsworth Head office. The role will suit a highly motivated and results driven sales professional who loves to work autonomously and be part of a great team.
The role will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director and will be an integral part of the sales leadership team. The successful candidate will be involved in creating the sales strategy and having input into our marketing direction of our brands.
Our company expectation is to build on the momentum that has already been created within the Independent Grocery channel.
Responsibilities
- Sales development and margin growth at Head Office level.
- The creation of sales presentations incorporating scan data.
- Development and alignment of business plans and effective sales strategies with our customers.
- To work collaboratively with internal and external customers to deliver superior results.
- Achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Identify and develop strong business relationships within Independent Grocery.
- Responsible for maintaining case deals and trading terms within the channel and budget expectations.
- Some interstate travel required.
The Person
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience within Grocery FMCG.
- A strong commercial acumen along with knowledge and use of scan data.
- Enthusiastic and eagerness to grow and succeed.
- An ability to maintain Brand Leadership within the category.
- A demonstrated ability to build business relationships across all levels, including senior and head office management.
- Experience in a sales environment with measured results and the ability to deliver on business targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid Australian Drivers Licence.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience is desirable.
