Sales Manager – Pool & Spa Supplies:

Eagles The Plumbing Shop is a well-established Australian owned business with a well-positioned branch at Upper Coomera, (near Gold Coast), Qld, specialising in pool products for the builders and maintenance specialists.

As we head towards FY24/25 we are looking for an experienced Sales Rep / Sales Manager to join the Pool team at Upper Coomera. Operating in a very competitive market space, you will work with the Branch Manager to plan and target new business; manage some existing accounts; work with key supply partners; and work closely with the Branch team to evolve our sales story, product range mix, and customer proposition to support growth and an increase in sales.

Key selection criteria:

• You will currently be operating in the Pool & Spa market or have relevant product knowledge and be familiar with the product range associated with the sector.
• You will have the ability to quickly develop solid and credible relationships at all levels with trade customers and supply partners.
• You will be part of the commercial team, based at Upper Coomera, and operating remotely too, so you will need to have the confidence to operate autonomously, with minimal supervision, and the ability to develop a territory using your sales and business development experience.
• This is a sales and business development role so you must have demonstrable experience in a competitive industry environment and a track record of achieving objectives and targets.
• You will have a positive 'can do, will do' attitude and willingness to develop the skills needed to succeed in the role, and to help mentor and grow the team around you.
• You will have excellent time management and be well presented with good communication and administration skills.
• You will be a confident networker, and have the experience to plan effectively, negotiate, and manage objections.
• You will have a solid employment history and a clean current drivers' license is essential as you will be expected to be on the road.
• You will have solid IT literacy to undertake reporting and electronic daily communication requirements.
