Job Title:Business Development Manager

Location: QLD or NSW

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in expanding our presence in the allied health and corporate health and wellbeing sector. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will have a deep understanding of the industry, a proven track record in sales, and a passion for promoting health and wellness.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients and partners in the allied health and corporate health and wellbeing sector. This should include community sectors and hospitals.
  • Develop and execute a strategic Business Development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partnerships/ relationships.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth areas, opportunities and potential clients.

Client Engagement:

  • Initiate and lead client meetings, presentations, and proposals.
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our services and offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and client services, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Sales Growth:

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Development or sales experience in the allied health and corporate health and wellbeing industry. Other industry experience will be considered as well.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
