The role of Sales Manager offers an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our organisation and drive business growth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, and working as part of a professional team, this role will primarily be responsible for increasing market share representing a leading Security Fencing Company.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proven experience in; generating new business, developing and executing effective market strategies, and leading and developing teams.
In addition to the above, it is essential that you are a strong communicator with the ability to develop strong and sustainable client relationships.
The role will be responsible for the following;
- Lead and develop sales leads
- Development and execution of growth and marketing strategies
- Ensuring the achievement of sales targets for team members and the overall business
- Lead the develop and implementation of; systems, processes and reporting for the sales function
- Represent the company in various functions and industry bodies
- Ensure all leads and new business prospects are updated routinely in the CRM system
- Prepare a detailed monthly report on all sales activities and conduct monthly meetings with sales team to improve performance
- Keep abreast of, and report on, all market trends and developments
- Preparation and submission of Security Fencing proposals.
- Creating business opportunities through the active engagement of potential clients.
- Project take off and estimation, based on written specifications and site plans.
- Technical sales to the construction/engineering/resources/government industry.
- Regular reporting and updating of all activities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients.
- Work with key management to set forecasts, budgets, carry out analysis and reporting as required
- Identify further opportunities and markets for the business to expand into
- Increase brand presence in the marketplace (website & marketing)
The Candidate
To be successful candidate will possess the following attributes;
- Be commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach to management
- Strong analytical skills with capability in computer based
- Ideally degree qualified but not essential
- Be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and quality
- Strong business development and account management skills
- Experience in contract, proposal and tender management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity: ethical and professional, accountable
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making capability
- Fencing experience is a must.
